Hey there again!
I have just been looking through the blogs of last year’s students and I
am actually very impressed. In my opinion, what makes those blogs so great is
the way they are interacting with the possible reader. The way they pretend
they are writing to a big audience. When reading, I felt like they are talking
to me… and it makes it a lot easier to read and actually more interesting. Additionally,
opening up and talking about things you have experienced makes it more exciting
and interesting for the reader even if he or she is not that interested in the
subject.
Those suggested blogs we had to look at were also rather organized and appeared
to be quite pretty. I guess the layout is also important because it gives the reader
a good first impression. However, I don’t think the layout was the reason that
made them part of the best blog community. It is the way they shared their
interests and experiences. It’s very authentic I guess.
My plan for this semester is to write more to the
reader. Even though I am quite sure that no one reads my blog, I intend
to make it more authentic because that’s in my opinion what really makes the
difference.
