It’s been a
while, hey there again!
One of the
things I do a lot in my free time is going to concerts. I usually don’t know
the band but I go there anyway because I am really interested in music and in
how musicians perform on stage. Also, I am kind of addicted to buying T-shirts
from bands that aren’t mainstream.
Since I
have just been studying Irish culture, I thought I am going to introduce Wallis
Bird, an Irish artist that I really like. Besides her music in general, I
really admire her guitar playing. I myself play guitar and reading about her past
and seeing how she is playing impressed me very much. When she was really
young, she had an accident with a lawnmower where she lost all her finger on her
left hand and only 4 were sown back on. She is left handed but playing a right
handed guitar reversed. It not only lets her music have a unique touch, it also
is something I find quite exceptional. I
have seen her twice in concert and was both times very impressed. She had a lot
of energy on stage which I really appreciated.
